Interior Panorama

I did this panorama to show the image quality of an interior space, in this case a kitchen.

The iPhone was attached to the Gymbl Grip & Tripod and was sitting on the countertop.  I used only available light.  I stitched the images using AutoStitch in “high resolution” mode and the resulting panorama has not been retouched or edited.

The reason I shot images with a lot of overlap – 75% in some cases – was so that the joint between the counter top and backsplash was curved and not an series of straight lines that are angled.  Another benefit of overlap is that it reduces noise in shadowed areas.

If you would like to see the full sized master, click here.  A new window or tab will open, click on the image to view it  at full size. You shouldn’t see any ghosting, blurring or other parallax artifacts.  Look for stitching artifacts like: straight lines that appear mismatched, ghosting of vertical lines or blurring in fine details.  You shouldn’t find any.
